Latin LOLCat: Get up!

Here is today's Latin LOLCat: The Latin imperative surge is indeed related to the English word "surge" - but no silent "e" in Latin; it is pronounced as two syllables: sur-ge. If you are interested in Latin proverbs and fables, check out the Bestiaria Latina blog.

Surge, qui dormis!

Get up, you who are sleeping!
