Shakespeare: A long spoon

Today's Shakespearean proverb is from Comedy of Errors, and also compare this reference in The Tempest: "This is a devil, and no monster; I will leave him; I have no long spoon."

He must have a long spoon that must eat with the devil.

For more proverbs from Shakespeare, see Shakespeare Proverbs by Mary Cowden Clarke (1848).
