Latin LOLCat: A House Without Books
Here is today's Latin LOLCat. The word for house here, aedes, is the same root as in the English word "edifice." You can read more about that etymology here. If you are interested in Latin proverbs and fables, check out the Bestiaria Latina blog.
Aedes sine libris similis corpori sine spiritu.
A house without books is like a body without a soul.
