LOLCats: Lofty Things
Here is today's Latin LOLCat. The Latin word altus can mean either tall OR deep (it goes both ways, up and down), but here the meaning is clearly tall things, and, by metaphorical extension, lofty things, great things, etc. If you are interested in Latin proverbs and fables, check out the Bestiaria Latina blog.
